Loskota received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, specializing in environmental engineering, from the University of Minnesota. He is a registered professional engineer in Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio and South Carolina.
He is past president for the Central Ohio Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and is a member of the Association of State Dam Safety Officials, the American Water Works Association, and the Water Managment Association of Ohio
A BBCM employee since 1986, Loskota specializes in the design of earthen structures including landfills, dams, reservoirs and slope stabilization projects. He has completed projects for, among others, American Electric Power, the City of Columbus, the Del-Co Water Company, Inc., Duke Energy, Franklin County, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, and the Ohio Turnpike Commission.
