Furgason received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from The Ohio State University. He is a registered professional engineer in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio and South Carolina.
Furgason is currently serving as treasurer for the Cincinnati section of the American Council of Engineering Consultants (ACEC).
With 25 years of engineering experience, Furgason specializes in geotechnical and foundation engineering, construction observation and materials testing. He has been with BBCM since 1996 and has served as the manager of BBCM's Cincinnati regional office since July 2007. Prior to that, Furgason managed the company's commercial and residential design groups.
